Introducing Hp2Xchange

Tailor Made Software® Hp2Xchange™ is a command-line interface application designed to convert Hewlett Packard graphics-format files (including .HP, .HP2, .HPGL and .PLT) into a variety of different CAD, technical illustration and raster formats, especially those used in conjunction with the World Wide Web—including Adobe's Portable Document Format (.PDF), Joint Photographic Experts Group (.JPG) and Tailor Made Software's MaP Points (.MPP). HPGL is the de-facto standard for plotter vector graphics.

Hp2Xchange can be installed and utilized on any server that utilizes one of the following operating systems:

• Microsoft Windows NT (4.0) or 2000

• Windows 95 or 98

• Sun Solaris (v7.51 or later)

• Red Hat Linux (v6.1 or later)

• HP-UX (v10.2.0 or later)

• AIX (v4.1.5 or later)

If need arises, Hp2Xchange can also be utilized via a scripting application to manually convert single files or batches of files.
