  2. When the Registration dialog box appears, you have two options:

If you want to take advantage of the trial-use period, click Run in Demo Mode (shown below).

If you have obtained a license to use CAD Server, click in the fields shown here and type the appropriate information.

The main CAD Server window appears, as shown here.

  3. To start the process, click the appropriate button in the Input Type area.

As a result, the appropriate file extension appears in the Input File Specification field.

  5. Click Set Input Parameters.

The HPGL Input Parameters dialog box appears, as shown here.

  6. Choose the desired options and click OK to record your selections.

  10. When the CAD Server window reappears, choose from one of the three Operation Mode options: Interactive, Once then Exit, or Continuous.

If you choose Interactive, you can ADD INFO.

If you choose Once then Exit, you can ADD INFO.

If you choose Continuous, you should do the following:

  11. To start the process, click Convert. If you set up a "continuous" operation, the CAD Server window can be minimized, as you will be leaving it active for as long as you want the automatic process to run.

If you set up an Interactive operation, something will happen.

If you set up a Once then Exit operation, CAD Server will run, then stop. The % Done status indicator will track the progress of this operation, and when the process is successfully complete, a status message will appear in the Status field.

  12. When you have finished using CAD Server, click the CAD Server window's Exit box to quit the application.
